And the devil that deceived them was cast into the lake of fire and brimstone, where the beast and the false prophet are, and shall be tormented day and night for ever and ever.
– Revelation 20:10
I really look forward to the time when the biggest criminal of all time who is the Devil will be put out of business totally and permanently. For a long time this sinister enemy of God has been tempting people who are pure and condemning whoever he can lie to.
One thing the Bible speaks in Isaiah 54:17 is that, No weapon that is formed against thee shall prosper; and every tongue that shall rise against thee in judgment thou shalt condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the Lord, and their righteousness is of me, saith the Lord.
Don’t let the Devil condemn you. I go even more forward on that. Don’t let him even speak. Resist the devil. Say, “In the name of Jesus I rebuke you, get away from me you devil”. Its that simple. Speak in faith and the devil will flee.
Pray like this….
Pray like this not to take a miss,
see the Lord of true bliss.
Pray looking at his face,
don’t back down for there’s grace!
Pray that you deserve it,
than just observe it.
Pray that your motives are refined,
that your will is well defined.
Pray for courage when weak,
that climbs up the mountain peak.
Pray for the oppressed,
so that no ones depressed.
Pray that your thoughts are pure,
that you prevail and endure.
Pray that your vision is clear,
that you hold God dear.
Pray that you’re full of faith so strong,
that you avoid all paths wrong.
Pray that you pray that you pray,
let God make your day, make your day.
Dear brothers and sisters,
A very vital message of the Gospel is to sin no more!
Many people are familiar with what happened in John Chapter 8 that Jesus didn’t condemn the woman caught in adultery but forgave her. That’s right he did forgive her but there is a point to that.
Lets read John 8: 10-11 that says, Straightening up, Jesus said to her, “Woman, where are they? Did no one condemn you?” She said, “No one, Lord.” And Jesus said, “I do not condemn you, either. Go. From now on sin no more.“
Friends, note this that “sin no more” is not a suggestion or an idea that Jesus gave her. It’s his command in all seriousness.
This is something we too must take seriously in this generation. Many professing Christians do not take these words of Jesus and put them to practice.
Why should someone sin no more? It’s very simple so that they don’t land up in any more trouble. Lets remember the words of Jesus again. Jesus had done a miracle at the Pool of Bethesda. He healed a man was there who had been ill for thirty-eight years. You can read John Chapter 5:1-14. Now I will mention just the key scriptures that I want to point out; But the man who was healed did not know who it was, for Jesus had slipped away while there was a crowd in that place. Afterward Jesus found him in the temple and said to him, “Behold, you have become well; do not sin anymore, so that nothing worse happens to you.”
So Jesus said “do not sin anymore” more than once in the Bible. And what it the “worse” thing that Jesus meant? Well it could mean many things like getting into worse trouble or sickness or something really bad physically or mentally. Mostly people do get into this but some escape it but there is something even more worse than these. Could there be anything worse? Yes and its being sent to hell for all eternity for not turning away from sin!
That is why Jesus is so specific that people sin no more. If one accepts the Gospel one must accept the fact that one must stop sinning. Some may sin but that is not an excuse to stop trying to avoid sin.
If you are serious about avoiding sin please pray to Jesus that you want to repent in all sincerity and want to live a truly Holy life. You might also go through the related articles below which can be of immense help.

Dear brothers and sisters, Hell is a bad place to be. Once you die and then are condemned to hell there is no turning back. Yes, there is no turning back to God. Period.
There a few videos that you can get the details on this. If you are a minor (kid or below 18 years) then I’d advise you to watch these video along with your parents or elder relatives. Here we go:
There are preachers and their listeners who don’t want to talk about hell. Ask them why and they’d say that they don’t to talk about any thing negative, that’s the silly excuse they come up with to stop speaking the truth. The most truthful person on earth, I mean Jesus himself SPOKE often about hell.
Jesus said, “If your right eye causes you to sin, gouge it out and throw it away. It is better for you to lose one part of your body than for your whole body to be thrown into hell. And if your right hand causes you to sin, cut it off and throw it away. It is better for you to lose one part of your body than for your whole body to go into hell.” (Matt. 5:29-30)
Jesus told the story of a rich man and a poor man, and the rich man ended up in Hell, describing it as a place of torment (Luke 16:22-28). The rich man actually cried out in Hell: “. . .I am tormented in this flame” (Luke 16:24).
“The Son of Man will send his angels, and they will collect out of his kingdom all causes of sin and all evildoers, and they will throw them into the furnace of fire, where there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth. Then the righteous will shine like the sun in the kingdom of their Father” (Matthew 13:41-43).
In Matthew 25:31-46 we read : “When the Son of Man comes in his glory, and all the angels with him, then he will sit on the throne of his glory. All the nations will be gathered before him, and he will separate people one from another as a shepherd separates the sheep from the goats . . . And these will go away into eternal punishment, but the righteous into eternal life”
In Matthew 13:42, Jesus speaks: “And shall cast them into a furnace of fire: there shall be wailing and gnashing of teeth.”
In Matthew 25:41, Jesus speaks: “Depart from me, you cursed, into everlasting fire . . .”
In Matthew 10:28, Jesus speaks: “Do not be afraid of those who kill the body but cannot kill the soul. Rather, be afraid of the One who can destroy both soul and body in hell.”
In Mark 9:46, Jesus speaks about hell again: “Where their worm does not die and the fire is not quenched.”
So if Jesus himself speaks about hell then such preachers are for fact making up lies by avoiding this topic. It’s not a sin to preach about the reality of hell! In fact part of the reason why Jesus came on earth, died on the cross and then got resurrected was that no man, woman or child who believes in him would ever suffer in hell. That’s part of the message of the gospel.
So if someone doesn’t still want to talk about hell, let me put me say it most politely, they are denying the gospel. Yes, let me repeat they are denying the gospel and not only that they are preaching a different gospel.
Now there is a truth about such people mentioned in the book of Galatians: But even if we or an angel from heaven should preach a gospel other than the one we preached to you, let him be eternally condemned! As we have already said, so now I say again: If anybody is preaching to you a gospel other than what you accepted, let him be eternally condemned! (Galatians 1:8-9)
Now there are certain Church groups that say that these are things that were spoken before the cross of Christ and not later. I’d say that nowhere does this even dilute the teachings of Christ about hell even one bit. Further more even after the cross of Jesus there are verses in the Bible that warn about hell and eternal punishment.
Take note of all the verses in the Bible mentioned about hell. It’s ALWAYS about torment and punishment for sin.
2 Thess. 1:6-9 has it written as – God is just: He will pay back trouble to those who trouble you and give relief to you who are troubled, and to us as well. This will happen when the Lord Jesus is revealed from heaven in blazing fire with his powerful angels. He will punish those who do not know God and do not obey the gospel of our Lord Jesus. They will be punished with everlasting destruction and shut out from the presence of the Lord and from the majesty of his power
Revelation 20:15 says, “And whoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire.”
Revelation 14:11 says, And the smoke of their torment ascendeth up for ever and ever: and they have no rest day nor night, who worship the beast and his image, and whosoever receiveth the mark of his name.
It’s a fact the Bible speaks more about hell than heaven and for good reason, so that you don’t go to hell! Jesus came to earth so that you don’t go to hell. Hell is a place of eternal torment.
It’s not a chill out zone as mentioned in the world media. The punishments are real. No matter what punishment you got on earth for any sin or crime there is nothing in comparison to the agonies of hell as the torments of hell keep on going for ever.
The only way to not go to hell is to repent and believe in the Gospel! In Gospel of Luke chapter 13, Jesus gave a warning which is true for all generations: “Do you suppose that these Galileans were greater sinners than all other Galileans because they suffered this fate?”I tell you, no, but unless you repent, you will all likewise perish.
If you are already aware of hell then might need to know what is your duty in the knowledge of this truth. Here are a few pointers to follow:
Jude 1:23 “RESCUE OTHERS by SNATCHING them (pulling them out) from the FLAMES OF JUDGMENT. There are still others to whom you need to show mercy, but be careful that you aren’t contaminated by their sins.”
Mark 16:15 Jesus says, “GO into all the World and PREACH the Good News to EVERYONE.”

Crucify the flesh and its sinful desires,
Believe the Gospel and keep away from hell fires.
The devil made me do it, people say,
No doubt they went the wrong way.
Flesh and spirit can never be buddies,
this is spoken of in Bible studies.
Light and darkness don’t mix too well,
No wonder there is heaven and hell.
Fire or water is the choice,
you can choose life so rejoice!
Sometimes there are temptations a plenty,
but blessed are those who live out Psalm Twenty.
The Gospel speaks of life that’s eternal,
so that you escape all that’s infernal.
Salvation is given to those who believe,
joy and happiness that none could preconceive.

Dear brothers and sisters,
When praising God its best that you praise the Lord with full effort. You can experience hows it done on the below video. You might also like to sing praise along with the video, one video at a time. I’ve ensured that the lyrics are included.
Here is another one:
To praise God with full effort you can always try the following tips and principles:
1) Praise God as an expression of your love towards him. Luke 10:27 says that, You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength and with all your mind.
2) Praise God because he deserves it. Psalm 150:1-6 says that, Praise the Lord! Praise God in his sanctuary; praise him in his mighty heavens! Praise him for his mighty deeds; praise him according to his excellent greatness! Praise him with trumpet sound; praise him with lute and harp! Praise him with tambourine and dance; praise him with strings and pipe! Praise him with sounding cymbals; praise him with loud clashing cymbals! …
3) Praise him with thanksgiving for your salvation. This way you acknowledge Christ as your savior. Psalm 95:1-11 says that, Oh come, let us sing to the Lord; let us make a joyful noise to the rock of our salvation! Let us come into his presence with thanksgiving; let us make a joyful noise to him with songs of praise! For the Lord is a great God, and a great King above all gods. In his hand are the depths of the earth; the heights of the mountains are his also. The sea is his, for he made it, and his hands formed the dry land. …
4) Boast about the goodness of God. Psalm 34:2 says that, My soul makes its boast in the Lord; let the humble hear and be glad. Psalm 103:2 says that, Bless the Lord, O my soul, and forget not all his benefits.
5) Psalm 22:26 says that, The afflicted shall eat and be satisfied; those who seek him shall praise the Lord! May your hearts live forever!
6) Be bold to praise God.
7) Praise the Lord freely, of your own free will. True praise must always come from within.
By following these simple and timeless principles you’ll be able to praise God with full effort.
DO NOT yield to every impulse and suggestion but consider things carefully and patiently in the light of God’s will. For very often, sad to say, we are so weak that we believe and speak evil of others rather than good. Perfect men, however, do not readily believe every talebearer, because they know that human frailty is prone to evil and is likely to appear in
Not to act rashly or to cling obstinately to one’s opinion, not to believe everything people say or to spread abroad the gossip one has heard, is great wisdom. Take counsel with a wise and conscientious man. Seek the advice of your betters in preference to following your own inclinations.
A good life makes a man wise according to God and gives him experience in many things, for the more humble he is and the more subject to God, the wiser and the more at peace he will be in all things.
– The Imitation of Christ by Thomas Kempis
Dear brother/sister in Christ,
“If you are what you should be, then you will set the world on fire.”
– St. Catherine of Siena
I pray that this post gives you a clear understanding that basing your identity on your job or any worldly thing is not something that you should rely on.
People do say things like the below when they are asked to identify themselves:-
- I’m an electrician.
- I’m a lawyer.
- I’m a fashion designer.
- I’m a CEO.
Even before I go into the main topic let me make it clear; I don’t want you to skip office nor leave your job. I don’t want you to think that you are doing a bad job nor feel not so nice about being unemployed. I also assume that you believe in Jesus. There is hope so hang on!
Getting back to what I mean, many people identify themselves by worldly titles. This has its own perks and benefits in the social circles where they dwell. However the truth is these things come to an end, eventually. Here are some of the ways they end :-
- Getting fired.
- Being laid off.
- Indefinite company lock outs.
- Wars that take down national economies.
- Long term illness.
- Hostile corporate takeovers.
Unemployment is usually a hard time not only for the unemployed individual but also that person’s family. The rate of unemployment in North America is rising and if you are not aware you can click here to know more. So basing your identity on holding a job isn’t really reliable. I mean be happy that you have a job. Be grateful to God. Let your family benefit from it. However don’t get overwhelmed by it.
Never be so taken up by that, so when the day you no longer are working you don’t feel depressed. I’m serious as there have been instances of those getting laid off committing suicide as they couldn’t provide for their loved ones.
Romans 12:2 says that, Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewal of your mind, that by testing you may discern what is the will of God, what is good and acceptable and perfect.
As believers in Jesus we can’t rely on worldly standards because the ways of the world die out eventually but the way of the Lord Jesus is eternal.
In light of these words, you need to identify yourself by something better. A person who believes in Christ is can choose to acknowledge his true identity. Once you accept your identity in the Lord Jesus you will never be shaken both in the spiritual and the physical aspects of life.
Here are a few scriptures to meditate on to make you realize your true identity in Christ which is eternal. Please read them prayerfully. Here we go:
A child of God – Romans 8:16 says that, The Spirit himself bears witness with our spirit that we are children of God
Ambassadors for Christ – 2 Corinthians 5:20 says that, Therefore, we are ambassadors for Christ, God making his appeal through us. We implore you on behalf of Christ, be reconciled to God.
God’s dwelling places – 1 Corinthians 3:16 says that, Do you not know that you are God’s temple and that God’s Spirit dwells in you?
Part of the body of Christ – 1 Corinthians 12:12-13 says that, For just as the body is one and has many members, and all the members of the body, though many, are one body, so it is with Christ. For in one Spirit we were all baptized into one body—Jews or Greeks, slaves or free—and all were made to drink of one Spirit.
New creation in Christ – 2 Corinthians 5:17 says that, Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation. The old has passed away; behold, the new has come.
Chosen ones – 1 Peter 2:9 – But you are a chosen race, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people for his own possession, that you may proclaim the excellencies of him who called you out of darkness into his marvelous light.
Now that you are aware of what you are in Christ, I’d advise you to mediate on the above scriptures and read the Bible as it will tell you much more about your identity in Jesus. Remember that true identity is what works in this life and in the next, every time!

P.S: Please pray that I be able to write something on getting employed in a world where unemployment is rising.
Tithing is the mechanism for funding the Gospel. Those who withhold tithes and offerings from the Lord are disobedient Christians, they won’t be ready for His return. By their disobedience, they hinder the gospel from going out, costing souls.
Many missionaries who go to remote places have already given up their possessions and thus live on a hand to mouth existence. They need the prayers and support of the Christians to further the Gospel to the ends of the earth.
However, when people go to church they hardly give even about 10 quid while they earn in thousands and lakhs per month. Stinginess right in the sanctuary of God – yes this actually happen right in front of you. The generosity is lacking big time.
I’d say unto them “If you can’t be generous towards God, why should you expect God to be generous to you”. Don’t say you need the money more than those people who never heard the Gospel and are in danger of hell fire and damnation. Greed isn’t a gift of the Holy Spirit. A loss of a Mac Burger is highly bearable and is nothing compared to the loss of a human soul due to some person not being generous towards God.
Support need not be in cash/cheque only. You might have old clothes, utensils, furniture etc. There are a good number of Christian organizations and units that ensure that the clothes will reach the faraway Christian mission to give clothes or goods to people who are living in ragged and dirty ghettos.
Try to give your donations to a place where the word of God is preached. Preferably your local church. You can also give money to credible church ministers/ministries who are directly involved in frontline preaching in villages & cities where the Gospel hasn’t been preached.
Never think then your donation is too less or you are too small to help the furtherance of the Gospel. That’s only the Devil trying to keep you from doing what it good.

There is a big insidious lie that has been the bane of many people who were in the Lord but then departed from the faith. Its that God doesn’t love them. Yes, that’s the lie that they fall for.
Some unfortunate event like a death in the family happens and the first thing they ever say is that, ‘God why did you do this to me? I hate you’. Its kinda weird as to why hardly anyone blames the devil for introducing sin and death in the human race.
People sometimes don’t believe that God loves them because of ignorance of God’s love. Now this is not a clean chit to them for not loving God. Because they hardly take to time to understand God’s nature. If your eternal salvation is at stake you take responsibility to review what’s going on your life and not keep wasting time on the non essentials. So to tackle this ignorance one needs to be aware of the truth which is revealed in the Bible.
So lets read about the love of God which he has for us in the Bible. This love is manifest through his Son Jesus. Here we go:
John 3:16 says that, For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life.
Romans 5:8 says that, But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us.
2 Thessalonians 2:16 says that, May our Lord Jesus Christ himself and God our Father, who loved us and by his grace gave us eternal encouragement and good hope,
1 John 4:9 says that, In this was manifested the love of God toward us, because that God sent his only begotten Son into the world, that we might live through him.
There are many more verses in the Bible which speak about God’s love for all. It’s just that we need to be aware of this fact so that we don’t believe any lies which state that God doesn’t love anyone.
