The soul that sins shall die

The soul that sins shall die,
a whole truth, no lie.
Give God all the glory,
make this your song and story.

Each is responsible for one’s actions,
so don’t bow to sinful distractions.
Do good, have faith and wisely sow,
God will raise you high and not low.

Christ is both the Rewarder and Judge,
He knows who is gold and who is sludge.
Jesus waits so you don’t go from him apart,
He knocks patiently at the door of your heart.

  1. Poetry isn’t a “popular” medium, but it is one greatly used by God through the centuries. May He grow you in your use of it, for His glory.

    • Thanks. Infact my first ever Christian writing was a poem and only later I started using the more contemporary method of writing articles. I still am going to be writing poems for Christ.

God bless you for your encouragement!
