Principle of releasing from above

When climbing up a mountain with a bucket of water you put in a lot of effort and energy to carry it up to the top of the mountain. It’s difficult to ensure that you don’t spill water on your way up. Once you are on top of the mountain you can then release the water down with little effort. When going up the water didn’t have much force but when going down from the mountain it carries huge force. In physics this principle of potential energy being transformed into kinetic energy is use to power turbines to generate electricity.

There’s something similar in the spiritual world. People who follow this principle benefit a lot by seeing strong results by their prayers. The concept is very simple. You release blessings over others from above with and through Christ. You don’ work down from the mountain, instead you work up from the mountain. That way your prayers carry high potential and have great results as you release them.

Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us in Christ with every spiritual blessing in the heavenly places (Ephesians 1:3)

For he raised us from the dead along with Christ and seated us with him in the heavenly realms because we are united with Christ Jesus. (Ephesians 2:6, NLT)

Many prayers don’t carry much force because people work uphill. They rely on their own talents of trying to use the correct diction, prayer styles and postures when praying. So this causes a lot of stress on self to be perfect. They feel guilty about themselves if they missed a few words while praying. The devil tries to trick them into trying to earn the favor of God which for them is a very frustrating experience. Because in reality you cannot earn God’s favor, it can only be given freely by God to you.

While others realize that they can’t do anything by their own but choose to surrender everything to God. They instead try to be in union with Christ above and are only focused on his enabling grace to get a miracle or healing for themselves or a loved one. These are the ones who release great potential as they pray. For they do not rely on their own strength but the strength that comes from being one with Jesus from above.

So the choice is entirely up to you. You can try to work from below the mountain or release potential from above. Choose to work from above with total dependency on the Lord God and see amazing results!
