Remember to take up the Shield of Faith

In all circumstances take up the shield of faith, with which you can extinguish all the flaming darts of the evil one; (Ephesians 6:16)

But since we belong to the day, let us be sober, having put on the breastplate of faith and love, and for a helmet the hope of salvation. (1 Thessalonians 5:8)

A wise fighter doesn’t get oversmart when fighting battles. He will take due precautions for his safety. As Christians we are at war against the kingdom of darkness and due to this we must always have an active so that our love for God is never polluted and that we can withstand the assaults of the Evil One.
