Lack of repentance when interceding is not worth it
I’ve seen people who love to pray for others (intercession) to God. However I then noticed a few people whose prayers do not get answers. They then blame their lack of prayerfulness or simply say the delay is due to evil forces in the spiritual world. Yes it is all that at times. However there is one thing they still skip out – Repentance.
Proverbs 28:9 – He that turneth away his ear from hearing the law, even his prayer [shall be] abomination.
Psalms 66:18 – If I regard iniquity in my heart, the Lord will not hear [me]:
Proverbs 15:29 – The LORD [is] far from the wicked: but he heareth the prayer of the righteous.
Isaiah 59:2 – But your iniquities have separated between you and your God, and your sins have hid [his] face from you, that he will not hear.
The key thing is to repent and then intercede in such cases.
1 Peter 3:12 – For the eyes of the Lord [are] over the righteous, and his ears [are open] unto their prayers: but the face of the Lord [is] against them that do evil
James 5:16 – Confess [your] faults one to another, and pray one for another, that ye may be healed. The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much.
