Are you paying attention to the truth by Jesus?

Trust in the LORD with all your heart, and lean not on your own understanding (Proverbs 3:5)
Whoever trusts in his own mind is a fool, but he who walks in wisdom will be delivered. (Proverbs 28:26)
Trust in the LORD and do good; dwell in the land and cultivate faithfulness. (Psalm 37:3)
Cast your burdens unto Jesus
O you who are burdened take heed,
Come to Jesus with your need.
Why be down with worry forever?
Why not petition God in your endeavor?
Cast your burdens unto Jesus entirely,
And cast them all unto him regularly.
For he cares for you,
Let this be your sign and clue.
Cast unto Jesus your fear and vanity,
And ask him for peace and sanity.
Reject the bad and accept the truth,
And by trust in God renew your youth.
Believe in the Lord Jesus, and you will be saved
“And I tell you, every one who acknowledges me before men, the Son of man also will acknowledge before the angels of God; but he who denies me before men will be denied before the angels of God. (Luke 12:8-9)
And brought them out and said, “Men, what must I do to be saved?” And they said, “Believe in the Lord Jesus, and you will be saved, you and your household.” (Acts 16:30-31)
Moses writes that the man who practices the righteousness which is based on the law shall live by it. But the righteousness based on faith says, Do not say in your heart, “Who will ascend into heaven?” (that is, to bring Christ down or “Who will descend into the abyss?” (that is, to bring Christ up from the dead). But what does it say? The word is near you, on your lips and in your heart (that is, the word of faith which we preach); because, if you confess with your lips that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For man believes with his heart and so is justified, and he confesses with his lips and so is saved. The scripture says, “No one who believes in him will be put to shame.” For there is no distinction between Jew and Greek; the same Lord is Lord of all and bestows his riches upon all who call upon him. For, “every one who calls upon the name of the Lord will be saved.” (Romans 10:5-13)
Parable of the Wise and Foolish Builders (Parable by Jesus)
Jesus gave us the parable of Wise and Foolish Builders in Matthew 7:24-27 in which he said the following:
“Every one then who hears these words of mine and does them will be like a wise man who built his house upon the rock; and the rain fell, and the floods came, and the winds blew and beat upon that house, but it did not fall, because it had been founded on the rock. And every one who hears these words of mine and does not do them will be like a foolish man who built his house upon the sand; and the rain fell, and the floods came, and the winds blew and beat against that house, and it fell;and great was the fall of it.”
Jesus in the above parable wants us to understand the importance of both hearing his words and also acting on them. There are people who only hear the words of Jesus but do not act on it. Then we have people who both hear and act on the Word of God. Now, both of these types of people will keep building their life and achievements.
And they will face challenges and tough times as well. Only those who have acted on the words of the Lord Jesus will prevail and those who do not act, will suffer great losses. The most dangerous of such losses is when a person loses his or her soul to the Evil One at the time of death because of not abiding by the Word of God in their thoughts, words and actions.
But be doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving yourselves. (James 1:22)
Flee youthful lusts
20 In a great house there are not only vessels of gold and silver but also of wood and earthenware, and some for noble use, some for ignoble. 21 If any one purifies himself from what is ignoble, then he will be a vessel for noble use, consecrated and useful to the master of the house, ready for any good work. 22 So shun youthful passions and aim at righteousness, faith, love, and peace, along with those who call upon the Lord from a pure heart. 23 Have nothing to do with stupid, senseless controversies; you know that they breed quarrels. 24 And the Lord’s servant must not be quarrelsome but kindly to every one, an apt teacher, forbearing, 25 correcting his opponents with gentleness. God may perhaps grant that they will repent and come to know the truth, 26 and they may escape from the snare of the devil, after being captured by him to do his will. (2 Timothy 2:20-26)
Flee youthful lusts
The biggest obstacle for those who are after the Lord Jesus is about how they face temptations. Some people know how to resist temptation really well, while others end up falling into temptation. I’d say to anyone facing such a problem in their walk with Jesus Christ, is that they flee such temptations especially those one’s which are called youthful lusts.
So what are these youthful lusts and should be one’s reponse?
Usually, these are those lusts that happen during one’s youth most of the time. Not every youth faces them all and it can be just one of two temptations which they enticed into and However, it sometimes happens to people even later in life. Nevertheless, these are called youthful lusts. Some of these include:
- Arrogance
- Alcoholism
- Bad companionship
- Gambling
- Drug abuse
- Lying
- Sexual immorality
- Stealing
- Rebellion against parents
- Rebellion against authorities
- Pride excessively in oneself
Please make sure you repent of the above sins in the name of Jesus Christ and also repent of all other sins too. This way you will be pure in the Kingdom of God.
Let me also break it down what the next part in Timothy 2:22 means ( aim at righteousness, faith, love, and peace, along with those who call upon the Lord from a pure heart. ). Here we go:-
Aim at righteousness
Don’t be walking aimlessly in life. Especially when walking with Jesus Christ, this is a full-time thing that you aim for righteousness in your thoughts, words, and actions.
Faith
You can’t go on not believing in God’s existence and call yourself a follower of Jesus Christ. Such an attitude at best is hypocritical and must be eliminated from your life. The only way to please God is by having faith in Him. And yes, you can manifest this faith in your thoughts, words and actions as per the commandments of God.
Love
Let me just speak what the Bible says: “You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength and with all your mind, and your neighbor as yourself.” (Luke 10:27)
Peace, along with those who call upon the Lord from a pure heart.
Do everything that is only God to all who believe in the Lord Jesus. For this, you need to at peace with those at church, especially those from your friends and family too. Having respect for others who follow the Lord Jesus is important in your walk with Jesus.
Finally with regards to fleeing youthful lusts, always repent and never be a disgrace to your Christian community just because they’re forgiving and understanding. Take help from those strong in the faith. Never be ashamed to ask help from Jesus in prayer when faced with tempations. Remember that there is no repentance in the grave and charity begins at home.
Christ be with you!
God will forgive those who have sinned and want to repent, what are you waiting for?
There are some who are expecting something really big to happen before they repent. I mean they have heard the Gospel and know that they are sinners. However, the actions that they are no doing is acknowledging their sins before the Living God and repenting in the name of Jesus.
No man or woman lives forever. Don’t think you can repent at the 11th hour when many have died at 10.30. Secure your future in the Lord Jesus Christ by repenting and believing in the Gospel!
If my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and I will forgive their sin and will heal their land. (2 Chronicles 7:14)
Yet a little sleep, a little slumber, a little folding of the hands to sleep. So shall thy poverty come as one that travaileth, and thy want as an armed man. (Prov 6:10-11)
The times of ignorance God overlooked, but now he commands all people everywhere to repent (Acts 17:30)
Remember therefore from where you have fallen; repent, and do the works you did at first. If not, I will come to you and remove your lampstand from its place, unless you repent. (Revelation 2:5)
Whoever conceals his transgressions will not prosper, but he who confesses and forsakes them will obtain mercy. (Proverbs 28:13)
Cast your worries unto Jesus
Cast your worries and care,
And don’t get stuck in despair.
Give Jesus all of them at his feet,
Surrender your concerns complete.
Ask Jesus to give you his peace,
So that all negativity does cease.
He is merciful and he is kind,
In Him alone salvation you can find.
Don’t feat the past, future nor today,
But in Jesus’ heart put it all away.
In Christ alone put your trust,
And all your focus on him adjust.
Heal my dear ones O Lord
Heal those whom I hold dear,
Lord let your healing to them come near.
Hear my prayer and hear my plea,
And let all of their illness flee.
O Christ Jesus I desire that they are well,
And also that they prevail against hell.
May the Enemy’s plan against them fail,
Help them when their faith goes frail.
I ask that my loved ones are set free,
From the darkness for eternity.
Let Gospel be in their heart,
So that from God they don’t depart.
