God’s word remains the same

Don’t keep quiet about people who give financial offers at church

Recently, I’ve come across various preachers who told me of the challenges that they faced either themselves or their congregation with fraudsters. I then realized that when dealing with people who give financial offers to you at church, you don’t take their word for it but rather be on guard. This will prevent yourself and even your pastor from any trouble later on.

There is this one type of person (a real life case) who comes new to church, and makes friends with a lot of people. He will gauge your financial condition as he laughs and smiles with you. Later he will invite you to invest in his financial scheme but there is a clause to it. He tries to get a commitment from you, that you won’t mention to anyone at church that you gave him money, I mean not even your preacher at church. He tries this trick with many church goers and is less visible at the worship services as the days go by.

At times he might give out ‘dividends’ to you in a few months time. This makes you invest more into his schemes which he keeps offering you. One fine day he stops responding to your calls. He no longer comes to church. As you keep wondering about what happened to your money and this man, you casually ask another church goer if he happened they might have met your ‘financial planner’. Let’s say this church goers name is Mr James (not using the real name). James tells you that he too is searching for the ‘investment guy’ since he too gave him a lot of money to ‘grow’ up. Eventually you and James find out more people at church who got cheated of their money by the same vile fraudster who is absconding. Now when the news reached the pastor he warned the entire congregation but also told them that never again to hide such things from him! Being able to keep secrets is a fine thing but remember that some people who are crooked might misuse trust of others when asking them to be quiet about financial dealings with them. It makes their work of deceiving other’s all the more easy.

At the times I’ve even heard of pastor’s getting tricked. Now the bait is given as ‘invest in so and so scheme and you can use the profits to help the poor and needy etc’. The preacher who goes mostly by emotions then imagines how much he loves the poor and how much the promised money can be used to fund missionary work etc. The preacher may at times not just put his own money but also the financial offerings of the people at church. Then like lighting the pastor loses the entire amount to the fraudster and his congregation instead of understanding what happened come up to their own vain conclusions. Especially in such cases the local church tries to avoid legal action and will use private detectives to run after the money. The end result is controversy and confusion for the preacher and his congregation. Such a shame indeed!

In hindsight such preachers who hear of financial schemes that are too good to be true must consult another discerning preacher or financial or legal expert before making any investment no matter how small the amount and no matter how many people can vouch for the person who is presenting the “make a lot of money in a short time” scheme.

Above all pray for discernment. Ask for the counsel of the Holy Spirit in such things. And yes, please read the Bible and verify that your actions are wise or you need to avoid any confusion over an unvetted financial offer.

Christ be with you!

Preaching against Facebook & Social Media by Danny Castle (Video)

The above video preaching by Danny Castle exposes the seduction by Social Media. This is a warning about how things go wrong with various modern means of communication when they get misused. It might not exactly sound like music to ones ears but yes, things do get misused and people miss out on the Bible and things of the Kingdom of God. Do watch the video to get a clear understanding on this topic.

Whosoever draws his sword against the prince must throw the scabbard away

“Whosoever draws his sword against the prince must throw the scabbard away.” (English 17th Century Proverb)

A scabbard is a sheath for holding a sword, knife or other large blade or gun, such as a rifle with a bayonet.

There are two princes who are at war. First is Jesus Christ the prince of heaven and the son of God. The other is Satan the prince of the fallen world (John 12:31) and the arch-enemy of God.

There is no scope for being a neutral party. The Bible is very clear about this:

He that is not with me is against me; and he that gathereth not with me scattereth abroad (Matthew 12:30).

Therefore, he who rejects this instruction does not reject man but God, who gives you his Holy Spirit. (1 Thessalonians 4:8).

“The one who hears you hears me, and the one who rejects you rejects me, and the one who rejects me rejects him who sent me.” (Luke 10:16).

So when you choose the side of the prince of heaven, you’re at odds with the Devil. You must realize that Satan is on one evil mission. Some scriptures about this that tell about the problem by the Devil & the solution:

Violence like a lion:

Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walks about, seeking whom he may devour (1 Peter 5:8)

Pretense by the Devil:

And no marvel; for Satan himself is transformed into an angel of light. (2 Corinthians 11:14)

Thieving nature:

The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have [it] more abundantly. (John 10:10)

So know that the Devil is a violent, pretentious thief what must one do?

  • Accept God; Submit therefore to God. Resist the devil and he will flee from you. (James 4:7)
  • Resist the Devil; Resist him and be firm in the faith, because you know that your brothers throughout the world are undergoing the same kinds of suffering. (1 Peter 5:9).

What do I do if the Devil reminds me of my past failings?

Remind him about his future. And the devil that deceived them was cast into the lake of fire and brimstone, where the beast and the false prophet [are], and shall be tormented day and night for ever and ever. (Revelation 20:10)

Anything else?

Just keep working on doing the right things as mentioned above. You don’t need to much wisdom. You only need God’s grace which is given to those who keep his word.

Thanks for reading. Christ be with you!

Jesus the healer of emotions and spirit

Be gracious to me, O Lord, for I am in distress; my eye is wasted from grief; my soul and my body also. For my life is spent with sorrow, and my years with sighing; my strength fails because of my iniquity, and my bones waste away. (Psalm 31:9-10)

The above Psalm verses paint a picture of a person who is not just affected in body but also in soul. We are well aware that Jesus healed people of their physical infirmities. What about the soul and spirit being healed by Jesus? This is what the Holy Scriptures speak about Jesus being able to heal your emotions and spirit. Lets read the following:

The LORD is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit. (Psalm 34:18)

He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds. (Psalm 147:3)

For thus says the One who is high and lifted up, who inhabits eternity, whose name is Holy: “I dwell in the high and holy place, and also with him who is of a contrite and lowly spirit, to revive the spirit of the lowly, and to revive the heart of the contrite. (Isaiah 57:15)

The Spirit of the Lord GOD is upon me, because the LORD has anointed me to bring good news to the poor; he has sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives, and the opening of the prison to those who are bound (Isaiah 61:1)

If you are feeling hopeless, anxious, depressed, fearful, humiliated, insignificant, despondent or just about anything else negative then I want to remind you that the Lord God who made the human soul and spirit is completely capable of healing them. So what is needed from you to receive healing for your emotions and spirit is to believe that Jesus Christ wants to heal you.

You may wonder what is the basis for you to receive your healing. Its simple, its your faith in Jesus Christ and that you deserve your healing. People end up being a block to themselves because they continually consider themselves unworthy. This is mainly because of being conscious of their shortcomings before the law.

Maybe thoughts of your sin haunt you and are a hindrance to you. Come to Jesus and surrender your sin issues to the Lord. Remember when Jesus shed his blood by dying on the cross he took upon himself all of your sins. Guilt comes due to sin. As your sin is dealt with by the Lord’s finished work on the cross then the power of guilt is taken away. I want to just say this to you, ‘there is therefore now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus. (Romans 8:1)’ so don’t take a guilt trip (click here for a message on this).

Your healing comes by the atonement accomplished by Jesus on the cross for you. Here will of God was fulfilled to break all the barriers to your salvation. Salvation not just in terms of resurrection of the body but also of mind and spirit.

Medicines and psychology are used to help people recover emotionally. Some recover taking a while. Others need frequent therapy and get addicted to antidepressants. Some give up on valid medications and wrongly resort to alcohol.

We must remember that with God all things are possible, even those which are impossible to man. Here’s how to receive healing of your emotions and spirit:

Desire to be set free

Delight yourself in the LORD; And He will give you the desires of your heart. (Psalm 37:4)

He fulfills the desires of those who fear him; he hears their cry and saves them. (Psalm 145:19)

Pay attention to the Holy Scriptures

My son, pay attention to what I say; listen closely to my words.  Do not let them out of your sight, keep them within your heart; for they are life to those who find them and health to a man’s whole body. (Proverbs 4:20-22)

And we have the prophetic word more fully confirmed, to which you will do well to pay attention as to a lamp shining in a dark place, until the day dawns and the morning star rises in your hearts, knowing this first of all, that no prophecy of Scripture comes from someone’s own interpretation. For no prophecy was ever produced by the will of man, but men spoke from God as they were carried along by the Holy Spirit. (2 Peter 1:19-21)

For the word of God is living and active, sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing to the division of soul and of spirit, of joints and of marrow, and discerning the thoughts and intentions of the heart. (Hebrews 4:12)

Have faith for your healing

And Jesus said to her, “Daughter, your faith has made you well; go in peace, and be healed of your disease. (Mark 5:34)

And Jesus did not do many mighty works there, because of their unbelief. (Matthew 13:58)

And his name—by faith in his name—has made this man strong whom you see and know, and the faith that is through Jesus has given the man this perfect health in the presence of you all. (Acts 3:16)

Faith then comes by hearing; and hearing by the word of Christ. (Romans 10:17)

Seek the loving face of Christ

My eyes are ever toward the Lord, for he will pluck my feet out of the net. (Psalm 25:15)

You have said, “Seek my face.” My heart says to you, “Your face, Lord, do I seek.” (Psalm 27:8)

Give the Lord your pains and worries

Cast your cares on the LORD and he will sustain you; he will never let the righteous be shaken. (Psalm 55:22)

Casting all your anxieties on him, because he cares for you. (1 Peter 5:7)

Wait upon the Lord

Wait for the Lord; be strong, and let your heart take courage; wait for the Lord! (Psalm 27:14)

Our soul waits for the Lord; he is our help and our shield. (Psalm 33:20)

But they who wait for the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings like eagles; they shall run and not be weary; they shall walk and not faint. (Isaiah 40:31)

Avoid unhelpful and worldly thoughts

Keep your heart with all vigilance, for from it flow the springs of life. (Proverbs 4:23)

The seed falling among the thorns refers to someone who hears the word, but the worries of this life and the deceitfulness of wealth choke the word, making it unfruitful. (Matthew 13:22)

Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewal of your mind, that by testing you may discern what is the will of God, what is good and acceptable and perfect. (Romans 12:2)

As obedient children, do not conform to the evil desires you had when you lived in ignorance. 1 Peter 1:14

Forgive yourself and those who hurt you

While they were stoning him, Stephen prayed, “Lord Jesus, receive my spirit.” Then he fell on his knees and cried out, “Lord, do not hold this sin against them.” When he had said this, he fell asleep. (Acts 7:59-60)

Get rid of all bitterness, rage and anger, brawling and slander, along with every form of malice. Be kind and compassionate to one another, forgiving each other, just as in Christ God forgave you. Ephesians 4:31-32

Pray that you get healed

Worship the LORD your God, and his blessing will be on your food and water. I will take away sickness from among you (Exodus 23:25)

O LORD my God, I called to you for help and you healed me. (Psalm 30:2)

I pour out my complaint before him; I tell my trouble before him. (Psalm 142:2)

Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you. (Matthew 7:7)

You can also pray for/with others for healing

Is anyone among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the church, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord. And the prayer of faith will save the one who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up. And if he has committed sins, he will be forgiven. Therefore, confess your sins to one another and pray for one another, that you may be healed. The prayer of a righteous person has great power as it is working. (James 5:14-16)

Give thanks to the Lord for your healing

Oh give thanks to the Lord, for he is good; for his steadfast love endures forever! (1 Chronicles 16:34)

Enter his gates with thanksgiving, and his courts with praise! Give thanks to him; bless his name! (Psalm 100:4)

Confide in the Holy Spirit always!

But the Comforter, [which is] the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you. (John 14:26)

Likewise the Spirit also helps our weakness: for we know not what we should pray for as we ought but the Spirit himself makes intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered. (Romans 8:26)

Now the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing; that you may abound in hope, and in the power of the Holy Spirit. (Romans 15:13)

Now the Lord is a Spirit. And where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty. (2 Corinthians 3:17)

You may pray spontaneously or try this Suggested Prayer: O God I come to you in the name of your Son Jesus with the desire to be set free from all my emotional and spiritual wounds, especially N (N-name your specific problem) which has made me feel very low. I have the highest regard for your Holy Word and choose to abide by it. I believe that you are fully capable of healing me and that you want to set me free. I seek your face O Lord Jesus, which brings sure and everlasting hope. I surrender to you every though of my mind and spirit that is hurting me because you care for me. I wait upon you to strengthen me deep within. With faith in your Holy word, I reject all the falsehood and negativity of the world. As you forgave others even as you were dying on the Cross, so do I follow in your example and forgive myself and all others whoever hurt me in whatsoever way, whether they were aware of it or not. So heal me O Lord as I your child come to your throne of grace in the time of need. I also remember and pray for N (N-name them if they come to your mind) that he/she may become emotionally and spiritually restored. I give thanks to the Lord God for your healing grace. My earnest wish now that the Holy Spirit reminds of everything of Jesus, including the liberty that comes from Christ. Dear Holy Spirit intercede for me and for my healing. Amen and amen.

My thoughts on writing this post: Normally I don’t convey my thoughts on why I write a post but I felt the need to do so this time. I realize that within the church there are many people who carry wounds which are invisible. These are emotional and spiritual wounds. They don’t know what to do about it. Some of them have carried these hurts right from childhood into adulthood. Out of fear of being called weak they don’t know whom in the church to turn to pray for their healing. Maybe they tried attending church, spending time in prayer and fasting etc to get healed but still don’t feel any healing due to not being fully aware of the will of God. I personally believe that if you understand the principles of receiving healing of your mind, body and spirit through Jesus Christ, there is nothing to stop you from being healed. May the Holy Spirit who bring comfort, intercede for you that you experience the fullness of joy, hope and peace in Jesus. Amen.

Is Christianity a religion or relation?

I’ve noticed a lot of rants and opinions online saying that Christianity is not a religion rather its a relation with Jesus Christ. Now I agree that Christianity is about being in a relation with Jesus. No doubt on that but I maintain that Christianity is a religion.

People must not jump on this bandwagon of ‘Christianity is not a religion’ because it simply confuses people of other religions and also Christians too. Also in certain countries you must mention your religion for official purposes. Like on your birth or marriage certificate you need to mention your religion. So if you tell them Christianity is what you follow but it’s not a religion, then they will give you strange looks and say you have gone insane.

Also this ‘Christianity is not a religion’ statement must be subject to the test of the scriptures.

1 John 4:1-3 Dear friends, don’t believe every spirit. Test the spirits to see if they are from God because many false prophets have gone into the world. This is how you know if a spirit comes from God: every spirit that confesses that Jesus Christ has come as a human is from God, and every spirit that doesn’t confess Jesus is not from God. This is the spirit of the antichrist, which you have heard is coming and is now already in the world.

Jesus and Nicodemus

Jesus and Nicodemus

And it’s not just the above verses, it must be consistent with the entire Bible. I’ve noticed that the ‘Christianity is not a religion’ stuff is mainly directed at legalistic individuals but the tone that is used is often very rude. It’s good to be against legalism and ritualistic attitudes in the Christian faith. However in the fight against bad traditions we must not lose out on our heritage. By this I mean we must never contradict the Bible while going against legalism.

Someone may ask where does the Bible say that Christianity is a religion. There are verses that do. Here we go:

James 1:26-27 Those who consider themselves religious and yet do not keep a tight rein on their tongues deceive themselves, and their religion is worthless. Religion that God our Father accepts as pure and faultless is this: to look after orphans and widows in their distress and to keep oneself from being polluted by the world.

The above verses are definitely not about Judaism which emphasizes on animal sacrifice. Neither are they about any other religion except the Christian faith. Here the religion of Christianity is not defined by the usual things that are associated with traditions but rather how people have self control and love God our Father and watch out for those in need. It even includes living a holy life. That’s the Christian religion!

Gospel values or the Lord of the Gospel?

What are we supposed to hold most closest to heart when we hear or think of the gospel? Is it gospel values or the Lord of the gospel?

I strongly say it should be the Lord of the gospel who is Jesus himself. Because looking only on gospel values but not on Jesus opens doors to deception. The Pharisees during Jesus’ time on earth were so law centered that they refused to acknowledge Jesus as their messiah and Lord. The same shouldn’t happen with us being value centered instead of being Jesus centered.

Jesus said, “Search the scriptures; for in them you think you have eternal life: and they are they which testify of me.” (John 5:39)

Just because you are inspired by faith and do great miracles doesn’t mean it was all you. The devil tempts people who do miracles in Jesus’ name by telling them how special they are compared to others who are lesser beings than yourself. This a temptation of pride in onself rather than trust in God. The way to banish this thought is to realize that both miracles and faith come due to Jesus and not your own merits. So look to the real source which is Christ and not you. No wonder the Bible gives love more importantance than faith.

Love is the greatest value as per the scriptures. But love by itself as a value is just another door to deception. You needs to love in the right direction and the right person. You can either love God or love money but never both. You want to work overtime so that you can provide for your family whom you love. That’s great go for it but don’t miss your prayers to Christ. Because Jesus gives you the ability to become wealthy doesn’t mean you value the gift more than the giver.

Hoping and praying for a wonderful voice to sing is nice. But make sure you sing positive stuff at concerts and events. Hoping for a trip to the Canary islands is good but remember being in the presence of the Lord is far more greater. It’s just that we use our physical eyes more frequently that we need to take sight things that are eternal and unseen.

Peacefulness is highly prized value. Too much focus on peace is bad. You can’t be all ears to a person telling you vulgar jokes. You can’t play the peaceful listener to all. Listen peacefully to wisdom but walk away from foolish sinful talk even if it offends the speaker of vile words. Peace with God is more important than peace with men and women.

Some people cherry pick gospel values that suit their political or intellectual agenda. The most preferred pick is freedom. So a few verses are picked to gain the Christian people’s support for so and so persons right to freedom. I’m for freedom but please do include freedom to worship and freedom from sin as well.

I’m totally against racism, sexism and slavery but I see people try to promote democracy as a guarantee to lasting freedom on basis of bible verses about freedom. Don’t get carried away my friend, democracy is beneficial to some extent but limited by human weakness. People end up voting for the wrong leaders. Good leaders grow old and retire. Jesus is Lord forever and his kingdom shall never end in this life or in the next. How do we realize this? By reading the Bible trying to imitate Christ. This way we keep focused on the big picture instead of small strokes on it.

So do believe in every principle of the Bible but most importantly believe in Jesus always.

Ignorance is NOT bliss

‘Ignorance is bliss’ is an often used proverb in the world. However, ignorance in reality is NOT bliss.

Ignorance of natural things can be hazardous at times. Like if you don’t know the effects of chloroform, you wouldn’t be alert and end up sniffing it and may lose consciousness therefore. Again its like thinking a large brown bear is as fun and nice as those that come in cartoons, while in reality such bears can be really aggressive if provoked the wrong away.

Ignorance in relationships with others is not good either. For instance not knowing about what the neighbors dislike and then you end up getting the police at your doorstep for playing your favorite music on the highest volume, thanks to the neighbors complaints. Or not knowing that certain words that you casually use in one culture is considered racially or politically offensive in another, this can get you in trouble with people of other cultures.

Ignorance of spiritual things is the worst type of ignorance. This ignorance especially is strong when there is ignorance of scriptures. I mean we know that the Bible is the inspired Word of God but what matters then is do we really know what its speaks about? To know what it speaks about, firstly you need to read it for yourself. Secondly, you need to pray and reflect on the scriptures, so that you can get the right understanding of the scriptures. Finally, you need to put the scriptures to practice in your walk with the Lord Jesus. I’ve read the Bible completely from the beginning to the end and when I connected the dots, I realized that it speaks of Christ all the way.

Jesus said to the Jews, “You search the Scriptures because you think that in them you have eternal life; and it is they that bear witness about me…For if you believed Moses, you would believe me; for he wrote of me”  (John 5:39 and 46)

Ignorance of scripture is ignorance of Christ (St. Jerome)

Your salvation is at stake when you don’t know the scriptures. You might feel that you are doing alright when in fact spiritually you are in deception.

If you trust yourself to walk in the light of your own conscience, uninstructed or little instructed by the Word of God, you will end up doing things that you are deeply and sincerely convinced are right. But they may be terribly hurtful and destructive within the Church. (Ray C. Stedman)

The Bible is one of the most widely read and published book in the world but many people are still ignorant. This is because they don’t really get what it means and there is a reason to this. The reason is mentioned in 2 Corinthians 4:4 In their case the god of this world has blinded the minds of the unbelievers, to keep them from seeing the light of the gospel of the glory of Christ, who is the image of God.

You might wonder why there are some people who were once God-loving Christians, no longer believe in Christ. Some of them now believe that he doesn’t exist. Some other ex-Christians have departed from the faith and instead follow some other religion. I too had questions as to why people back away from Christianity all of a sudden, though later I realized that it’s not really all that sudden.

I got my answer in the following scriptures.

1 Timothy 4:1 Now the Spirit expressly says that in later times some will depart from the faith by devoting themselves to deceitful spirits and teachings of demons

Matthew 24:5 For many will come in my name, saying, ‘I am the Christ,’ and they will lead many astray.

Matthew 24:11-13 “Many false prophets will arise and will mislead many. “Because lawlessness is increased, most people’s love will grow cold. “But the one who endures to the end, he will be saved.

The above scriptures show one thing, that the workers of deception will even lead astray some of those who have faith in Christ. So one thing that is necessary to avoid such deception is to be well versed with what the Bible says not just about such deceivers but also about the saving nature of Jesus. If you know how to live in true wisdom it will be very hard for anyone to deceive you.

Here are a few scriptures you can reflect on:

2 Timothy 2:15 Do your best to present yourself to God as one approved, a worker who has no need to be ashamed, rightly handling the word of truth.

2 Timothy 3:15-17 And how from childhood you have been acquainted with the sacred writings, which are able to make you wise for salvation through faith in Christ Jesus. All Scripture is breathed out by God and profitable for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for training in righteousness, that the man of God may be competent, equipped for every good work.

Romans 1:20 For his invisible attributes, namely, his eternal power and divine nature, have been clearly perceived, ever since the creation of the world, in the things that have been made. So they are without excuse.

Romans 15:4 For whatever was written in former days was written for our instruction, that through endurance and through the encouragement of the Scriptures we might have hope.

Ephesians 3:3-5 How the mystery was made known to me by revelation, as I have written briefly. When you read this, you can perceive my insight into the mystery of Christ, which was not made known to the sons of men in other generations as it has now been revealed to his holy apostles and prophets by the Spirit.

1 Corinthians 1:18 For the word of the cross is folly to those who are perishing, but to us who are being saved it is the power of God.

John 20:31 But these are written so that you may believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God, and that by believing you may have life in his name.

Christ will return – Warning to all

comingMatthew 24:30 And then at last, the sign that the Son of Man is coming will appear in the heavens, and there will be deep mourning among all the peoples of the earth. And they will see the Son of Man coming on the clouds of heaven with power and great glory.

The most important event that is still pending in the history of the world is the return of the Lord Jesus Christ. This time he won’t come as a Lamb. He will come a fearsome judge and ruler putting an end to injustice on the earth.

The Bible speaks of people who will mock the prophecy of the return of Christ. They have made their vile thoughts known in literature, movies and online forums. The Holy scripture also speaks of what will be their ultimate fate.

2 Peter 3:3-7  First of all you must understand this, that scoffers will come in the last days with scoffing, following their own passions and saying, “Where is the promise of his coming? For ever since the fathers fell asleep, all things have continued as they were from the beginning of creation.” They deliberately ignore this fact, that by the word of God heavens existed long ago, and an earth formed out of water and by means of water, through which the world that then existed was deluged with water and perished. But by the same word the heavens and earth that now exist have been stored up for fire, being kept until the Day of Judgment and destruction of ungodly men.

Woe to all atheists and god haters when Jesus Christ comes on earth. They tell Christian people to keep their faith to themselves by being silent but themselves proclaim their hate towards God blatantly and openly.

They won’t be able to cite any evidence of Jesus not existing when Jesus is right in front of them. They won’t be able to question him with their so-called rational questions. It won’t be a time for debate. He will judge them because they hated him despite his great work of the creation of the world mentioned in the Bible and reminders from the believers of God that he loves those who turn to him.

Christ will also judge all those who rejected him and much more those who once professed to love him but later turned away from him. It will be an awful and eternal judgement that he will render to all sinners.

Matthew 16:27 For the Son of Man is going to come in his Father’s glory with his angels, and then he will reward each person according to what he has done.

Mark 8:36-38 What good is it for a man to gain the whole world, yet forfeit his soul? Or what can a man give in exchange for his soul?  If anyone is ashamed of me and my words in this adulterous and sinful generation, the Son of Man will be ashamed of him when he comes in his Father’s glory with holy angels.

The coming of Christ is going to be sudden because no one will be able to tell the exact time.

Matthew 24:27 For as lightning that comes from the east is visible even in the west, so will be the coming of the Son of Man.

Mark 13:35-37 Therefore keep watch because you do not know when the owner of the house will come back – whether in the evening, or at midnight, or when the rooster crows, or at dawn.  If he comes suddenly, do not let him find you sleeping.  What I say to you, I say to everyone: ‘Watch!’

Jesus is coming to judge the world. He will finish the job really well.

Jude 1:14 Enoch, the seventh from Adam, prophesied about these men: “See, the Lord is coming with thousands upon thousands of his holy ones to judge everyone, and to convict all the ungodly of all the ungodly acts they have done in the ungodly way, and of all the harsh words ungodly sinners have spoken against him.”

Wonderful tactic against the devil condemning you

past

And the devil that deceived them was cast into the lake of fire and brimstone, where the beast and the false prophet are, and shall be tormented day and night for ever and ever.
– Revelation 20:10

I really look forward to the time when the biggest criminal of all time who is the Devil will be put out of business totally and permanently. For a long time this sinister enemy of God has been tempting people who are pure and condemning whoever he can lie to.

One thing the Bible speaks in Isaiah 54:17 is that, No weapon that is formed against thee shall prosper; and every tongue that shall rise against thee in judgment thou shalt condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the Lord, and their righteousness is of me, saith the Lord.

Don’t let the Devil condemn you. I go even more forward on that. Don’t let him even speak. Resist the devil. Say, “In the name of Jesus I rebuke you, get away from me you devil”. Its that simple. Speak in faith and the devil will flee.
