Will you intercede?
Will you intercede for a world that’s dying?
In which there is sin, hate, and lying.
If you wish to do God’s will,
Then in your life intercession you fill.
Pray for the poor, pray for the rich,
That they don’t end up in Hell’s ditch.
Pray for the healthy, pray for the sick,
That they don’t fall for any evil trick.
Intercede unto Christ Our Lord and Saviour,
And be holy, sinless with good behaviour.
Don’t faint nor your sorrow lengthen,
But by the Holy Spirit yourself strengthen.
Pray for miracles more and plenty,
That they’d be hundredfold not twenty.
Pray for those who yearn for salvation,
That they believe the Gospel with joyful acclamation.
Hear God’s Word and to Him be grateful,
And cast out in Christ’s name all things hateful.
So make you petitions in full faith,
And in hope for deliverance wait.

I urge you, first of all, to pray for all people. Ask God to help them; intercede on their behalf, and give thanks for them. (1 Timothy 2:1)

Bible verses about waiting patiently for the Lord

I remain confident of this: I will see the goodness of the Lord in the land of the living. Wait for the Lord; be strong and take heart and wait for the Lord. (Psalm 27:13-14)

And in that day it will be said, “Surely this is our God; we have waited for Him, and He has saved us. This is the LORD for whom we have waited. Let us rejoice and be glad in His salvation.” (Isaiah 25:9)
For the vision awaits an appointed time; it testifies of the end, and will not lie. Though it lingers, wait for it, since it will surely come and not delay. (Habakkuk 2:3)
Bear fruit in due season
Bear fruit because its your duty,
And so spread the Gospel’s beauty.
Try to be productive in God’s will,
And in faith His plan fulfill.
Bear fruit, good and plenty,
Try for a hundredfold not twenty.
Don’t wait till all others grow,
But instead let your good works flow.
Bear fruit in due season,
Do not delay for any reason.
Be good soil for divine seed,
And never to the Enemy concede.
O Christian discern well before you marry
O Christian before you go for your marital union,
Check if you’d then still be in God’s communion.
Do not desire courtship with any unbeliever,
Because that one ain’t God’s grace receiver.
Even if someone claims in Christ to believe,
Make sure its not an attempt to deceive.
For many have tricked and have lied,
To get the unwitting victim to them tied.
Discern well before you marry,
Because faith in God you carry.
Discern well before you marry,
Lest you drift in a direction contrary.
Choose a spouse who is good and just,
And helps to build in Christ your trust.
Desire your beloved to be the one that prays,
That from wisdom and truth no one strays.

Do not be unequally yoked with unbelievers. For what partnership has righteousness with lawlessness? Or what fellowship has light with darkness? (2 Corinthians 6:14)

Should Christians have medicines?
Any Christian can take note that the Bible never tells us to avoid medication nor does it say to avoid doctors. In fact Jesus himself confirmed that the doctors (physicians) are important for the recovery of those who are unwell. Please refer to the following verses:
- And Jesus answered them, βThose who are well have no need of a physician, but those who are sick. (Luke 5:31)
- On hearing this, Jesus told them, βIt is not the healthy who need a doctor, but the sick. I have not come to call the righteous, but sinners.β (Mark 2:17)
Most doctors in their treatment of those who are ill, often prescribe medicines to them. So its Biblical to get to the doctor if you are unwell and then have medicines.
The Lord has caused medicines to exist and be discovered. So sensible one’s won’t despise them but have them as per their needs. Even the world after Judgement Day the Tree of Life will be used for healing the people.
In the midst of the street of it, and on either side of the river, was there the tree of life, which bare twelve manner of fruits, and yielded her fruit every month: and the leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations. (Revelations 22:2)
Don’t bother to have any sort medicine but always look for good medicine. This is where many get dismayed due to choosing the wrong medicine and then start fearing doctors and medicine. Pray for wisdom to know the right medicines to take and also that you get the right diagnosis by your doctor.
A joyful heart is good medicine, but a crushed spirit dries up the bones. (Proverbs 17:22)
