Prayer for protection from the cold wave
O Lord Jesus Christ, by you God has created the world and all that’s in it. You are the Lord over the winds and the lands and the seas. Nothing is too difficult for you. In your loving mercy save me and my family from the cold wave. Please remember my friends and colleagues as well when you send warmth back in our lives. I also intercede for my state and nation, so that the people who live here are rescued from the extreme cold. Cause the cold winds to subside and pleasant weather to come once again. Send forth your Angels to guard and guide those in trouble. I ask this in your Holy Name. Amen

O Lord Jesus, help me to keep waiting for your return with expectation and purity. The prophets and saints of old, waited for your first coming and were not disappointed, for they are comforted in your presence in heaven. Give me hope and joy, as I ponder on your second coming. Keep the faith in me ever glowing, for glory of God our Father. By your Holy Spirit counsel me that I remember your Gospel each and everyday of my life. Give me the grace to be unblemished by the cares, pleasures and allure of this world, so that I’m truly ready to receive you. I ask this in your Holy Name. Amen.

O Lord Jesus, I ask in faith to grow more and more in you. Help me to know you in spirit by the Holy Scriptures. Lead me by your Holy Spirit into remembering all things you teach me by your Word. And I know by this I’ll be able to give greater love and honour to God our Father. I ask this in your Holy Name. Amen

O Lord Jesus, there are many in this world who have still not heard of you. While we celebrate your birth, we pray for the lost and the unsaved. We ask that we are able to preach to all nations. Let all resources and graces be available for your Church, to reach out to them. Cause the people of the Church to remember again and again, that there are still lost sheep who need to be with their One true Shepherd. Awaken all my Christian brothers and sisters to preach your Gospel to everyone whom you lead them to by your Holy Spirit. Help us to reconcile all men, women and children to our Father the Lord God in heaven. I ask this in your Holy Name. Amen.

O Lord God our father in heaven, holy indeed is your name. I thank you, that I’m part of your great big family. I praise you for your marvellous work, in sending Jesus Christ your only begotten son, to reconcile all men, women and children, to yourself. I have faith, that you will continue to lead your family on earth, which is the Church to prevail against the gates of the Enemy and preach the Gospel to all of the nations. Bless all my Christian brothers and sisters worldwide to be awake in spirit that they be found worthy for the second coming of Jesus Christ. I ask this in your Holy Name. Amen

O God the Almighty One I give you the glory and praise, for your miracles in my life and in those who believe in you. No one can do miracles greater than you. I thank you for the greatest miracle of all, which is salvation by the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ, for those who believe. I pray for great and greater miracles, to be done all over the world, so that your Holy Name is glorified. By your Holy Spirit, lead your worshipper’s all over the world, to follow your Son Jesus Christ, in both word and action so they reach the fullness of the faith. I plead that you rescue and protect, my brothers and sisters in Christ Jesus, all around the world from all dangers both seen and unseen at all times. I pray especially for those in the Christian faith, who are actively targeted for their trust in Jesus, so that you give them hope and courage and relief, and by that they adore you even more. I ask this in the name of Jesus. Amen

O Lord God help me to speak of your Son Jesus Christ, without shyness nor any fear. Guide me by your Holy Spirit to preach about Jesus, and the Holy Gospel to the lost and the unsaved. May it be a witness to them for their salvation. Bless my mind and memory, that I remember all the teachings of the Holy Scriptures, especially in regards to Jesus the savior of the world. Give me the power to refute and resist the lies of the Enemy, God haters and heretics, about your Son Jesus. Let me speak of the greatness and humility of Jesus Christ. Let me speak of His healing and saving grace. Let me speak of his love and resurrection. Let me speak all of this for your glory and not for myself. I ask this in the name of your Son Jesus Christ. Amen.
