Confidence in your walk of faith
When walking in faith with Christ Jesus, we are called to be confident. Be brave and strong in your faith. Keep it true and real. Sometimes you may face challenges but that doesn’t mean you need to be scared. You need to hold on to Christ the King of Glory who is the author and finisher of your faith.
Don’t be fearful of society when you say you believe in Jesus in front of them. Be happy that you are a witness for Christ in front of people. Be confident of your ability to do good which comes from Jesus above.
Never think that you don’t achieve much. When you trust Christ you are actually living your life for the greatest cause. It is that you glorify the name of the Lord God in your life. No higher cause than that, ever!
Hebrews 10:35-36 Therefore do not throw away your confidence, which has a great reward. For you have need of endurance, so that when you have done the will of God you may receive what is promised.
Galatians 2:20 I have been crucified with Christ. It is no longer I who live, but Christ who lives in me. And the life I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me.
1 Corinthians 15:58 Therefore, my beloved brethren, be steadfast, immovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, knowing that your toil is not in vain in the Lord.
Psalms 27:1-2 The Lord is my light and my salvation; whom shall I fear? The Lord is the stronghold of my life; of whom shall I be afraid? When evildoers assail me to eat up my flesh, my adversaries and foes, it is they who stumble and fall.
Psalms 3:6 I will not be afraid of ten thousands of people Who have set themselves against me round about.
Psalms 18:29 For by You I can run upon a troop; And by my God I can leap over a wall.
Psalms 20:7 Some boast in chariots and some in horses, But we will boast in the name of the LORD, our God.
Being confident is NOT having pride in your own thing. In the walk of faith, your source of confidence is not yourself. It needs to come from Christ our Lord divine. Be confident that your faith has come to you from Christ himself in the Gospel. Jesus will see your faith go places; all you need to do is be with him.
Proverbs 3:26 For the Lord will be your confidence and will keep your foot from being caught.
Pray to Jesus for you can approach him without fear so that you get his grace in your desperate hour. He is all merciful and mighty to save.
Philippians 1:6 For I am confident of this very thing, that He who began a good work in you will perfect it until the day of Christ Jesus.
Hebrews 4:16 Therefore let us draw near with confidence to the throne of grace, so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help in time of need.
So I finally add this, that to be confident in your walk of faith you need to simply trust the Lord Jesus and he will see you through, all blessed and fruitful.
Jeremiah 17:7-8 “Blessed is the man who trusts in the Lord, whose trust is the Lord. He is like a tree planted by water, that sends out its roots by the stream, and does not fear when heat comes, for its leaves remain green, and is not anxious in the year of drought, for it does not cease to bear fruit.”
