The Fragrance Of Good Works

Offer God your spirit, mind and body,
So that your faith is genuine not shoddy.
Have mercy on the poor and needy,
Do not emulate the vile and greedy.

Good deeds whether they be small or profound,
In Christ’s name you do all around.
Please him without doubting his goodness and existence,
Lest from heaven you be at an unpassable distance.

Make a fragrant offering to the Lord God above,
For the blood of bulls and goats he doesn’t love.
Rather give unto God a sincere offering of praise,
By holiness and good works till the end of your days.
